The berries

Our raspberries are extremely prolific!

We didn’t know much about berries when we were first starting out.

Our raspberries came from a lady who gave us an opportunity to come dig some out of her beautiful patch. A 5 gallon bucket turned into 3 full rows! Now, a little over 15 years later, those 3 rows have turned into 10 beautiful rows of raspberries!

We keep our rows 6-8 in wide with nice 4 ft carpeted paths between each row. Some of our berry stalks get to be 9-10 ft tall!

They’re very prolific and the bees help propagate the berries so we are getting more and more berries every year!

Our 3 rows have become 10 because we continue to propagate the plants we have!

We typically harvest about 30 gallons of berries each season!

We’ve been able to sell some, but we end up giving a lot of them to friends and donating them to Haven House.
